The Beast is a seducer - accomodating, complicated, powerful, dark and created to last the ages. Beyond this, it's futile to attempt to describe Him. He will unveil Himself differently to each of His followers. The mark is in His constitution. Brewed with two-row malted barley, honey malt, and imported Belgian specialty grains (aromatic, pale wheat, roasted wheat, and Special B), hops (Magnum, Galena, Saaz, Hallertau, Tettnang, and Hersbrucker), brewing sugars (raisins, dates, blackstrap molasses, alfalfa honey, turbinado, and dark Belgian candy sugar), water, Belgian yeast and another hellion of a yeast strain.

"I think I should of let me age awhile. They call it beast and they mean it. This was truely one of the hardest beers to drink. You can taste the ABV in this one..."

"Bottled in 2006 let it age about a year, poured a rich ruby color with a small tight bubbly off white head that left nice lacing. Medicinal aroma of passion fruit, yeast, and hops. Some alcohol was also noticed in the aroma. Wow, very full mouthfeel, encompassed tastes of chocolate and roasted malt, hops, candy sugar, caramel and of course alcohol."

"batch #3; courtesy of fiulijn - cloudy ruby in colour; little head; powerful and complex whisky-like aroma showing notes of sour cherries, prunes, alcohol, yeast and toffees; strong initial sweetness sonn met by a very robust bitterness; sticky, syrupy and full-bodied, very long dry and bitter peppery, herbal finish with notes of licorice ... and of course a big burning alcohol kick - very good and enormous beer which is still quite raw and would probably benefit of some ageing"

"Bottle courtesy of Brentfeesh: Poured a deep clear burgundy color ale with a small slightly-off white foamy head with average retention. Aroma of sweet cookie dough with some plums and dry fruits is quite pleasing. Taste is mostly dominated by the sweet (maybe too sweet) cookie dough malt and plums, which are quite pleasant, but also a strong shot of alcohol which I couldn’t cared for and kind of ruin it for me. This beer remind me of a 50/50 mix between a sweet barleywine and a strong Belgian ale but really lacking in balance. Body is too light and less filtration would have benefited this beer."
