A golden Belgian style ale. When cold, has a mildly fruity nose, huge dense head, great mouth feel, wonderfully warming slightly sweet and moderately hoppy dryish finish. As it warms, the nose disipates as does the dry finish. This would be a good one to cellar for a year.

"Grain Champagne is the best way to describe this one. Fruits with a nice complete of spices enhance the warming of the alcohol. Cloudy Yellow body, foamy head. Nice carbonation."

"Sampled from bottle: pours a vibrant, translucent golden-orange colour with a small white head. Lacing left behind is scattered, but noticeable. Based on my stuffed up nose, the aroma is of bananna, honey and ripe mangoe. Taste is sweet, bubbly with plenty of tropical fruits. Pineapple and lime. Finishes very nicely."

"It pours a lovely golden amber with some fine bubbles and a white, fairly persistent head. Aroma is more hoppy than malty and has an odd but not repulsive rubbery hint. Flavor is fairly rich, malty and hoppy with a good alcohol bite. Mouthfeel is edgy and a little harsh, but this is still a good call."

"Pours dark gold with good clarity and small, creamy head. The aroma has light notes of yeast, spice, and alcohol. The flavor balances sweet, bready malt against ample bittering and peppery spiciness. Easy drinking for the style with a medium body, velvety mouthfeel, and moderate warming affect. "

"Sampled from bottle. Pours bright copper with a thin white head and nice lacing. Bold floral, hard candy and pepper spice aroma. Slightly bitter. Phenols/esters are dominant. A bit hot, but otherwise quite drinkable."
