"This brew poured a nice medium to dark nut brown with a reddis tinge, small tan head. The aroma is sweet malt and dark dried fruits. The mouthfeel is medium. The flavor is sweet malt with a mild hop bitterness coming through. Overall, this is a good representation of the the style and--I'll have another."

"Pours a dark tea brown with a slight head and some lacing. Some carbonation. Aromas of earthy malts, some nuts, very slight fruitiness and very slight hops. Taste is very smooth with an earthy nutiness and maltiness. "

" The First beer style i learned to love was brown ales. This brown is very nice, malty and rich with a good medium body. Finish is very clean with no aftertaste... Roasty , malty and sweet... nice"

"This beer poured a clear dark brown color with a thin white head. It had a malty roasted aroma and flavors of chocolate, coffee, and malt. Not bad, but I thought it was a little too dark for the style."

"Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color ale with a huge foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nuts, toffee with some light molasses. Taste is also dominated by some nuts, light toffee with some huge caramel and molasses malt notes. I didn’t discern a large hops presence which surprises me considering this is a brewery known for their extensive use of hops. Nicely done for the style."
