Our medium-bodied Brown Ale has a smooth yet complex maltiness from a special blend of roasted and caramel malts. Nicely balanced with English and American grown hops!

"This brown ale pours a medium brown color from a growler. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, sweet, and a touch nutty. A medium bodied brown ale. The malts are fruity and nutty. Touch of caramel and toffee. The hops are herbal and earthy. A nice mild brown ale. There is a touch of bread and some chocolate. A very solid beer, it would make a nice session ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. "

"Thanks to Steve A. for bringing a growler of this back with him on his recent visit. I know it's hard to make a brown ale dazzle and carry with it all the sturdy, eye-popping, tastetingling goodness that are the high-grav type beers. While it doesn't have that particular wow factor, this beer is solid thru and thru. A nice nutty aroma with some soft roasted malts (porterish?), and toasted bread. Appearance is a murky brown color, almost root-beer in hue with a smallish off-white head. Flavors were really mellow with notes of caramel, walnuts, and some really subtle chocolate notes. A nice beer, easy to drink and no "heavyness" to it. Hoping to try more of their beers."
