"I had this one at the quaint Wet Dog Cafe, which is Astoria Brewing's brewpub, in the lovely town of Astoria, Oregon. $4 a pint gets my attention right off! This was served up with a seriously dark, impenetrable body topped with a thin brown head. The aroma was faint and with the sinuses kicking up that day, I couldn't smell ANYTHING to save my life. The taste was a cold, almost too cold, dark chocolate with some faint suggestions of coffee and malt. Mouthfeel was not thin like many porters, and was completed by a somewhat sweet finish. Available for take-out in a half-gallon growler for $13."
