Even though this english-style wheat beer is technically called a "Summer Ale" it is the perfect choice any time you're looking for something light and refreshing that's big on flavor but light on body and alcohol.
Beer History:This special beer was created in collaboration with Ypsilanti's own Tree Fort Bike Shop and mountain biking team. Arbor Brewing Company has long supported the Michigan Mountain Biking Association and recently became the beer sponsor for the Tree Fort team. So we were thrilled to have the opportunity to create a beer for and to help raise awareness of Michigan's great mountain biking scene.
We chose the English-style Summer Ale because it is the perfect thirst-quencher after a hard race. It's sort of the classic lawnmower beer re-imagined for a more sophisticated beer palate. It is proof that you can have a refreshing and quenching brew without compromising flavor.
