"Beer pours orange color with nice head and lacing. The aroma isn’t strong but is citrus dominated. The flavor of this one is thick citrus. When I say citrus, I mean it tastes like you are drinking the left over pulp from an orange/grapefruit juice factory. A surprising level of bitterness given how sweet and thick it is. Mouthfeel, apart from pulpy, also was quite carbonated. A good beer, but not in the league of the elites."

"Bottle courtesy of Bu11zeye : Poured a light hazy blonde ale with a huge pure white foamy head with perfect retention and perfect lacing as well. Aroma of citrus and fresh grapefruit is just out of this world with some low bitter notes. Taste is also dominated by some fresh red ruby grapefruit with some bittering notes at the end. Probably one of the best aromas I’ve had in months of tasting new beers. Full body, creamy texture, perfect carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Wow!"

"NorCal December '07 - Now this is a beer with some teeth to it. Wow. Big dank, musty hops in both the nose and taste. Huge pine character to it with that cat piss aroma lingering around underneath it all, escaping at every oppourtunity. The malt bill on this really is overwhelmed by the hops and doesn't do much. It's close to an IPA in that regards. Appearance is a beautiful dark gold color, clear with a nice fluffy white head. Mouthfeel is sticky, yet smooth. Flavors are intensely hopped, with notes of fresh tropical fruits, juicy grapefruits, pine and some subtle sweet malts. This is hoppy from top to bottom. About as close as you can get to be an IPA and not cross over into DIPA territory."

"I received this on Friday in a trade with a friend in La Jolla (6 California beer for some French Wines). My friend described this an Imperial IPA instead of simply an IPA. The beer pours an orangy gold color into the glass with a thick white head that slowly disappears. The aroma is a combination of hops, malt, and lime. This is a smooth beer with a full body. The taste is full of hops, with a citrus bitterness that makes you want more, a lot more. This was truly an enjoyable brew. The only thing that would have improved this would have been Clemens beating the Devil Rays...............oh well. "

"09.29.05 Bomber. Huge, dry, c-hops rule. Cat piss. Nothing cloying, sweetness never interferes. Pithy, herbal. I can’t find any complaints."
