With a fury of hop flavor and a hint of malt backbone, this west coast amber is part ale, part sensory eruption, and all American.

"Whoo Hoo!! My 500th REVIEW!!!!!
This beer poured a cloudy amber color with a tall frothy head. It showed a somewhat hoppy aroma loaded with pine/woodsy hints. Had a balanced flavor overall with a clean finish."

"Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a very nice fairly deep amber with a nice creamy head and nice lacing. Some carbonation. Aromas of lots of hops iwth some citrus zest and a sweet malt. Taste is more hoppy than anticipated with a citrus hops and a slight sweet roasted malt."

"Pours a dark clear copper colour with a full creamy head. A very nice, sweetly malted ale. Aromas of fresh hops and plums. Flavors of caramel, nuts and bread. Moderately hopped throughout each taste which is very pleasent. "

"This lively beer has a bold, fresh hop aroma that blends pine and fruit. The body is slightly hazy and light amber in color. The head is bubbly and white, with good lacing. Medium-bodied and smooth on the palate. This is a boldly-hopped beer, more aggressive than many Amber Ales, but the flavors are well balanced due to the smooth, full malt foundation. The finish is long and dry, with a surprisingly sour bite. Nicely done. "

"A very nice ale from this young Madison microbrewery/pub. Pours a clear deep amber color with a healthy head and copious lacing. Aroma just slightly off, or it'd be 8's accross the board. Sweetish, malty mouthfeel, and well-balanced flavor of hops and malt. Price is per bottle for a 6-pack bought on site. Awesome value, if you can get there!"
