The classic clear blonde abbey ale, with a gentle roundness and 6.8 alcohol. Low on bitterness, it is eminently drinkable

"S4L2F3T3O4 This is a pretty inexpensive Belgy. $1.50 at the Vintage Estates in Boardman. Just as cheap as Rare Voss. Alkaline hints support a unique session. Looks like any other american pale lager. The foam is a little more thick with fine bubbles. The palate carbonation is creamy above average fine tingliness. Building bitterness on the back of the throat ans sides of the palate but not very intense. Not quite as good as Ommegang Rare Vos but on par with Zot and Lagunitas #10 (formerly #9) "

"Thanks Mike for being the first person ever to bring good beer to a house party. Dirty yellow body nice cloudiness and a small white cap. Aroma is mild and yeasty with some spice. Flavour is more of the same yeast, spice, wheat, light apple, possibly lemmon. Very easy drinking brew that has a very dry pasty finish. Nothing wrong with this beer just kind of boring I guess. I swear this use to taste better then what this does. Body of the beer is fuller and has less burny carbonation now that it’s warm."

"Been awhile...
Poured out a nice but small white head with fine bubbs, some sticky lacing all sitting on top hazy, dirty lacing. The aroma is beyond light with notes of lemon, yeast and its mid range spice... that's it. The taste is close to the same with more blandness and dry peppery spice, slight banana and lemon. Very crisp, not quite thin, quite drying. It gets it done I guess. Refreshing and not much else."

"This is available EVERYWHERE in Toronto. I thought it was one of those specialty Belgian ales, but alas it's just a typical Belgian ale that tastes pretty good. It pours a hazy golden yellow colour with a fluffy white head. The aroma was citrusy notes, malt, and some spicy notes. The flavour was rather bland when compared to the aroma. "

"330ml bottle
6.8% ABV
I tried this beer on May 30, 2008 after purchasing from the Queen's Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a hazy golden orange colour with a bubbly white head which disappears within a couple of minutes. The aroma was grassy malt, some appley hints, and a little hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was very yeasty with some malty hints. A little spiciness as well. "
