Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma. For every six pack sold Abita Beer will donate $1 to the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation

"What a strange name. Note to self: ’Need to find out more about this name.’ Pop the lid and rotten lemony aroma. Appearance of slightly hazy pale yellow American lager. Easy to drink, tho it does posses a few of the attributes of an ale. Rather friendly and pale lager like. Enjoyable with a touch of wet straw. "

"Nice hazy golden pour with a slight head. Nice sweetness, but not too sweet. Great blend of fruits and spices. A great beer to take you back to New Orleans."

[3] Review by Qatfish from Alexandria, VA, USA who has tried this beer many times. (5/18/2007 5:08:39 PM)
"A translucent gold brew with a sweet floral scent that has a touch of citrus, honey, and wild grape in it. Sweet bread flavor underlies mild grapefruit oil and a touch of lemon and honey. Pleasantly bitter and balanced. Flavorful enough to please a beer lover, yet (as caddylac suggested) mild enough for new beer drinkers to transition into bolder flavors."

"Nice to see the Abita brews in Wisc! This beer pours a dark golden colour with a medium sized white head. initial taste is a little grainy with tapers off into a honey like taste with nice fruit flavor."
