"Aroma on this brew is a bit grainy with some caramel malt coming through as well as some mellow varieties of hops and is a bit sweet. Appearance is a light amber in color when held to the light with a medium-sized head on top that is well-carbonated and diminishes to a soapy lacing that sticks to the glass and is white in color. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with some less than average complexity and balance with a palate that is clean and a bit watery but not bad. Flavor is malty sweet with some light caramel coming through with an aftertaste that is of some slight raisin and a finish that is clean, crisp, and grainy. Overall, nothing special here but Abita never is but it is a easy-drinking bock but nothing like a true German variety stylistically and historically speaking. "

"I really liked the appearance of this brew...a deep amber color with a thick, creamy head. The aroma was rather strong and hoppy but the taste wasn't strong. It was rather pleasant and enjoyable-just a hint of hops."

"Poured a light gold which is much lighter than the bocks that I am used toSeemed more like just am ale sort of sweet sort of sour good lacing on the glass. The lacing was the highlight of this one. "
