A medium-bodied ale that has been hopped more to the extreme. This beer has a copper hue and a noticeable floral aroma. Our I.P.A. is brewed in the tradition of 18th century English-style pale ales. Traditionally, these ales were brewed with extra hops, (a natural preservative) to allow the beer to endure its long journey from England to India, around the Cape of Good Hope.

"Sampled on draft at 75th Street in KC. Pours clear copper-brown with a nice white head. Seems to be english kent golding hops in the aroma. Bready, floral hop flavor. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated. Need to be a bit more bitter, but a good english-style, hoppy ale nonetheless."

"Cask. Spicy/Floral hop aroma. Amber with no sign of head due to cask conditioning. Malt sweetnes and hop bitterness are well balanced. Thin and oily."

"Really good I.P.A. One of the best (if not the best) 75th Street beers. Pleasant aroma, and nice look, not too bitter yet has a nice bite during the aftertaste. Good choice while here, and you’ll be tempted to get a growler to take home."

"I liked it, good amber color that was hard to describe with good lacing, excellent bite and apparent alcohol flavor. Not exceptionally balanced, but a good hoppy brew. Weak aroma...but that may have been from all the smoke in their bar. Oh yea, and it was not only on tap, but on tap at the brewery, always a plus."
