"Sampled on draft at 75th Street in KC. Pours clear, amber-brown with a thick white head and nice lacing. Aroma is one-dimensional: caramel malts. Flavor is slightly bitter with notes of plum. Good malt backbone. Quite clean and dry. Medium-bodied and lightly carboanted. A solid Irish-style ale."

"I've enjoyed the one on tap and from a hand pump. All malt here. Sweet with some fruity esters with a slight bitterness in the finish. Worth the time.

"Good amber ale. Nothing spectacular. They used to serve this exact beer at Fenton’s and call it Fenton’s Aviator Amber Ale. It’s an average to above average amber ale with a little hoppiness to it. Slight citrus flavor to it makes it an enjoyable brew."
