Our Pale Ale is a blend of two well-known English styles, Extra Special Bitter and India Pale Ale. It is golden amber in color, mild in taste, but crisp, with a fruity, hoppy nose. Lionheart is full flavored, but not extremely bitter nor cloyingly sweet

"Heavy hops on the nose. I'd like a bit more malt to balance out the hops. There are some slight esters in the flavor that I noticed towards the end. Not a bad beer, but a very timid APA."

"The aroma is slightly hoppy with some floral characteristics and is somewhat sweet and seltzer-like. The appearance is a blonde color with some rustic orange or copper-like with a nice head on top that diminishes leaving very nice lacing on the glass that is creamy and off-white in color. The mouthfeel is light-bodied with decent complexity and balance with a light and crisp pallet that is a bit thin but not terrible. The flavor is not very hoppy and is grainy-like with maybe some hay or straw with an aftertaste that is smooth and refreshing as well as light with a finish that is a bit watery with some hoppiness. Overall, this is not a bad beer but seems more like a blonde ale and could use more hoppiness and floral characteristics; this is a decent brew at best."

"The description on the menu was that this beer was a cross between an English Pale Ale and an ESB. I thought they did a pretty good job at it: the balance between malt & hop is good. The aroma is very nice."

"Light gold color with a medium bitterness in the hop bite. Nicely balanced by the perfect combinations of malt. Medium bodied with a silky smooth mouthfeel. Best brewery in Atlanta hands down."

"Best of the beers I had at the 5 Seasons brewpub in Atlanta. Reading the description on the menu "Blending Extra Bitter and IPA" made me believe I was in for a hopfest, but that was not the case. Slight hop presence and a little more complex than the Sisters and Alt beers but nothing to write home about. This brewpub is a nice place to eat, play pool, etc but the beers are lacking. Overall this one was ok.
