"Draft at the Sandy Springs location, expected an oatmeal stout, perceived to be an imperial stout, only later to confirm that it was an imperial oatmeal stout. Appearance was dark black color, brownish-tan significant head with great retention, continuous tan lacing left on the glass walls. The aroma was a nice balance of coffee, chocolate, and light piney hops. The flavor followed suit, certainly not complex, but nicely blended together choco-coffee malts with a touch of hops to clean up the finish. The oats got lost in the higher abv, as did any dry type finish achievable with oatmeal stouts. Nevertheless, probably my favorite of the 5S brews I had."

"This pours almost black with a creamy tan head. Both the aroma and flavor are rich coffee and chocolate with good balancing bitterness. The only drawback is that the body is a little thin."
