Kind of like our M?r, only BIGGER! This full bodied, malty, mellow amber lager is brewed only once a year, to celebrate the Oktoberfest. Munich & Pilsen malts make this beer big and smooth, while German CaraMunich malt gives it a rich amber hue. This style is also known as M?enbier and Weis'n Bier. Best enjoyed in a one liter Mass with three fingers of foamy head

"Pours a dark honey-golden with a nice thick head. Aroma is quite strong and all malty. Flavor is rich and malty with a strong hint of spices. This ale is very smooth and pleasant, and the aftertaste is jazzy with a hint of hops."

"Dark cherry stain body with a large stiff foam head that takes a while to settle. Something in the aroma is making me thing of sand. My guess is the pilsen malt, which tastes kind of sandy to me, comes through in the aroma more than the flavor. Lots of malt here. The body is sweet, big malt, wood. In the cask conditioned version, the hops come up a little bit (not noticeable in the normal version) and the carbonation increases. There's a slight hint of lemon in the finish. Good beer and easily drinkable."

"A very nicely done o-fest beer. This could be my favorite to date. A bright orange color with moderate head. A big malty nose on this one. The flavor is quite sweet and more flavorful than many Ive had in the style. A big orange and caramel presence in the flavor. The finish is very sweet. A nice one."

"The aroma is nice and sweet with good malt character with maybe some slight spice coming through. The appearance is a nice red amber to copper with a small head that diminishes leaving only slight lacing that is off-white and coats the glass pretty well. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with very nice complexity and balance with a nice, full pallet that is round and coats well. The flavor is malty and very good with hints of smoke and roasted malts with an aftertaste that is roasty and smooth and has a finish that is full and is a very good offering with even some slight caramel or maybe coffee but that is stretching it. Overall, this is nice stuff and very tasty and would be a fine session brew and has high drinkability; nice job 5 Seasons!"
